The Biggest Loser results of season 8 were both astounding and record setting. The winner, 40 year old Danny Cahill, lost 239 pounds, which was 55.58% of his original weight. That was the largest weight loss in Biggest Loser history.

Second place finisher Rudy Pauls fell just short of Danny and capturing the $250,000 grand prize. The 31 year old lost an impressive 234 pounds and a similarly amazing 52.94% of his body weight. He received $50,000 for finishing 2nd.

Amanda Arlauskas, a 19 year old from New Jersey, finished a distant 3rd, losing 87 pounds and 34% of her body weight. Amanda was one of America's favorites. She was voted onto season 8 at the season 7 live finale. Then she won another vote (over Liz) to be in the final 3 of season 8 after landing in the bottom two the week before the finale. Amanda took home $25,000 for 3rd place.

The at-home contestants prize of $100,000 was captured by 25 year old Rebecca Meyer of Iowa. She lost almost half her body weight (139 pounds) coming in at 49.82%. She was practically unrecognizable. Aside from the incredible weight loss, her hair was blonde and short compared to dark and long the last time we saw her. See all of the biggest loser results below.
